New Hampshire was rocked by violent storms and possible tornadoes that swept through the state on Thursday, killing a Deerfield woman inside her home and causing widespread damage and power outages.

Two men from Lynn and one from Swampscott were indicted in federal court Wednesday for orchestrating an international steroids distribution ring, federal prosecutors said.
